Brian Mast

Brian Mast was born in Spokane, Washington. The son of missionary parents, he lived in and traveled to more than 50 countries before attending college at the University of Florida, earning his B.A. in English and M.A. in Linguistics in 5.5 years.

After working as an editor and then chief editor for a business magazine, Brian moved into the book-publishing world in 1999. His goal was to write two books before turning 30, which he accomplished with Profiles of Success and How to Manage a Million Dollars or Less. Since then, the books he has written, edited, or produced number almost 100, with collectively more than 1.6 million copies in print.

Brian created his own editing and publishing company, Pilot Communications Group, Inc., built, launched, and ran The Leading Edge Publishing Company, Inc. in 2008, and launched The Publishing Hub in 2009. Brian’s goal is to serve as many authors as possible, giving them the chance they want to publish their book and reach their goals. He played a major role in the publishing of Seeds of Success: A Journey from Success to Significance by Bill and Billy Moyer and has now teamed up with them in SOS Publishing.

“It is a privilege to help authors with their books,” he says, “and to treat authors the way I would want to be treated. That creates a real win-win scenario, which is the way it should be.”

Brian and his wife, Johanna, reside in Woodway, Texas with their four children.
